Gaylene Salina

Gaylene was born and raised on Vancouver Island, establishing herself in residential real estate in 1992. Gaylene has experienced Vancouver Island from stem to stern. Beginning with running barefoot at the family cabin on Galliano Island as a small child, fishing with her father from-the Gulf Islands on the East to the West Coast of Bamfield area. Growing up swimming and playing in the pristine waters of Sproat Lake, as a teenager skiing at Mt. Arrowsmith and Mt. Washington as well as exploring the world class surf beaches of Tofino. Owning her own real estate at a very young age, early adulthood included building homes in mid island communities with her little children in tow, until deciding Victoria was the place to settle down and raise her family.

In 1992 Gaylene successfully completed UBC Sauder School of Business-Real Estate Division and obtained her “License to Provide Trading and Rental Property Management Services”. It was time to expand her experience in real estate from building homes and began her career as a licensed Real Estate Professional.

The first 14 years involved mainly single family residential homes sales. Eventually, Gaylene expanded further into representing major, luxury, multi – family developments. This took her to working with the top Developers and Marketing Agencies both on the Mainland and Vancouver Island.

With the rise and fall of the real estate industry over the years, Gaylene has diverse experience in all markets, clientele and situations, from the first time buyers to the sophisticated elite.

Gaylene celebrates over 33 years of Award Winning Real Estate Sales with VREB in Victoria and Vancouver Island British Columbia. Gaylene, her two, now adult children, and their families, come together at every opportunity to enjoy the simplicity and diversity of the lakes, beaches, ocean, and mountains.
